August Postcard 2024

The next regular meeting of the BEADLE COUNTY SPORTSMEN’S CLUB will be held on Tuesday, August 13th Social hour will start at 6:00 p.m., with hors d`oeuvres starting at 6:15 pm. and supper served around 7:00 p.m.

MENU: Choice of grilled Rib Eye, pork chop, or boneless chicken breast, salads, vegetables, and dessert.

Speaker: Christopher Schiera, Conservation Officer with SD Game & Fish

We have a Perpetual Memorial Plaque at our clubhouse. Contact Sharon if you are interested in having your loved ones name(s) engraved on a plate; the cost is $50 for each plate. We wish to keep this memorial to only names with ties to BCSC.

We are having a ‘sweatshirt raffle’ at the cost of $1 a chance. If you’re a winner, you’ll get a certificate to pick up your color choice and size at Signature Plus.

We will also have a gun raffle board at the cost of $5 a chance.

Thank you to Ron Wallenstein for mowing the club grounds and Ray Polfus for sealing the east deck.

DEAR MEMBERS AND SPONSORS:

The next regular meeting of the BEADLE COUNTY SPORTSMEN’S CLUB will be held on Tuesday, May 14th. Social hour will start at 6:00 p.m., with hors d`oeuvres starting at 6:15 pm. and supper served around 7:00 p.m.

MENU: Firing up the Charcoal Grill! Choice of grilled Rib Eye, boneless pork chop, or boneless chicken breast, potatoes, salad, and dessert. Please pay as you enter the clubhouse so we can get a count for the grill and get your meal ticket. Deposit half your numbered meal ticket in the basket at the grill and a drawing will be held for a chance at a free meal. We need help in the kitchen following the meeting with clean up. The Beadle County Sportsmen’s Club is looking for any student who has completed 8th grade, or is currently in the 9th, 10th or 11th grade in high school and is interested in conservation, hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. Apply for Youth Conservation Camp held June 2-8th, 2024 at Camp Bob Marshall in the beautiful Black Hills. Download an application at South Dakota Wildlife Federation “camp” tab until May 1st. The Big Buck/Bull/Lunker Contest was held at March 12th meeting. Winners: Rifle – Elk, Jim Winegar; Archery – Whitetail, Donna Frank.

Thank you to all the volunteers who helped at The KOKK Outdoor Sports Show Brat & Hotdog feed on Saturday, March 23rd.
