The next regular meeting of the BEADLE COUNTY SPORTSMEN’S CLUB will be held on Tuesday, October 13th. Social hour will start at 6:00 p.m., with hors d`oeuvres starting at 6:15 pm. and supper served around 7:00 p.m.
MENU: Last grill out of the year!! Choice of grilled Rib Eye, boneless pork chop, or boneless chicken breast, potatoes, salad, and dessert. Please pay as you enter the clubhouse so we can get a count for the grill and get your meal ticket. Deposit half your numbered meal ticket in the basket at the grill, and a drawing will be held for a chance at a free meal.

We will have Bartering Tables set up for any sports equipment you would like to sell, trade or swap. Please bring your quality items, or “shop” for the other items that will be available. There is no cost for this service and is available to anyone.
We are having a ‘sweatshirt raffle’ at the cost of $1 a chance. If you’re a winner, you’ll get a certificate to pick up your color choice and size at Signature Plus. Also have a raffle for a Winchester SXP Black Shadow 12 ga gun for $10 a chance.
We have a Perpetual Memorial Plaque at our clubhouse. Contact Sharon if you are interested in having your loved ones name(s) engraved on a plate; the cost is $50 for each plate. We wish to keep this memorial to only names with ties to the Beadle County Sportsmen’s Club.
The 2026 Fall Bonanza is planned for Saturday, October 24th. Need all tickets, sold or not sold turned in by Tuesday, October 13th. Top prize $1,500; 2nd prize Winchester SX4 Field Compact 12 ga; 3rd prize Winchester XPR Vortex Scope Combo 6.5 Creedmore; 4th prize Winchester SXP Waterfowl Hunter 12 ga. Drawings for $25 throughout the evening, along with blackjack, dice game (Taurus G3C 9mm pistol prize), pick a duck (cash prizes, heads or tails, pay what you pull game (Winchester XPR Vortex Scope Combo 7mm Mag prize), and popular hat raffle (Winchester XPR 300 Win Mag prize). If you have donations for our silent auction, you can bring them on Tuesday, or contact a board member.
We will be taking donations for the Huron Area Salvation Army Angel Tree to help local children at Christmas time.
A board decision was made to shut down the clubhouse in January and February 2027, returning on March 9th for our annual soup/sandwich supper. You will not be getting a newsletter for January and February. Check out our web page: https://bcsc.club

Sam Freng is planning to move to Sioux Falls and will resign from the Beadle County Sportsmen’s Club board. If you are interested in completing Sam’s term on the board (until December 2028) please contact Ken Shoultz.
