Beadle County Sportsmen’s Club Celebrates 50 Years!

Time: Social Hour @ 6pm, Food served @ 7pm

We are thrilled to celebrate 50 years of the Beadle County Sportsmen’s Club with a special family fun event! Join us for an evening of delicious grilled brats, burgers with all the fixings, and beans. This event is free for all members and their families, with a free-will offering to support our club’s activities.

Event Highlights:

DEAR MEMBERS AND SPONSORS:

* * * * * * CELEBRATING 50 YEARS!! * * * * * * *

For our meeting on October 8th, we are planning a family fun event serving grilled brats and burgers with the fixings, and beans to members and their families of the Beadle County Sportsmen’s Club for free will offering. Invite potential new members to join the celebration! We are planning to play BINGO starting at 6:15 p.m with cash and cap for prizes. The meal will be served by 7 p.m. If you have knowledge of any of the first members, officers, or any early history, please text Sharon @ 605.350.1899 or email [email protected]

A 30′ x 78′ portion of the roof on the west end of the clubhouse was repaired in August. If you would like to donate send a check to BCSC 1741 Dakota Ave S # 196 Huron SD 57350 and write “roof” on your check.

Thank you to Ron Wallenstein for mowing and taking care of the club grounds.

We are having a ‘sweatshirt raffle’ at the cost of $1 a chance. If you’re a winner, you’ll get a certificate to pick up your color choice and size at Signature Plus. We will also have a pistol raffle board at the cost of $5 a chance.

We have a Perpetual Memorial Plaque at our clubhouse. Contact Sharon if you are interested in having your loved ones name(s) engraved on a plate; the cost is $50 for each plate. We wish to keep this memorial to only names with ties to the Beadle County Sportsmen’s Club.

Make plans to attend the Fall Bonanza Saturday, October 26th, 2024 starting 7 p.m.

Top prize $1,500; 2nd Prize – Browning X-bolt Long Range Hunter 300 Win Mag; 3rd Prize – Kimber Micro 9 Pistol; 4th Prize – Ruger 10/22. All bonanza tickets Sold or Not Sold must be turned in by October 8th. Unsold tickets will be distributed to those on the waiting list.

Planning Children’s Games with prizes, $25 Drawings throughout the evening, along with a raffle for hand-made knife by Dave Eichstadt, blackjack with cash prizes and a chance at a Winchester SXP shotgun, pick a duck with cash prizes, dice game for a chance to win a Heritage 22 Revolver, heads or tails game, pay what you pull game with a prize of a Berretta A300, and hat raffle with chance at Ruger American 270. If you have donations for our silent auction, you can bring them on Tuesday, or anytime during the year as we will store them until our bonanza. Our silent auction will include a chance for you to bid on a South Africa Safari Hunt (7 hunting days, 3 hunters)!

DEAR MEMBERS AND SPONSORS:

The next regular meeting of the BEADLE COUNTY SPORTSMEN’S CLUB will be held on Tuesday, September 10th. Social hour will start at 6:00 p.m., with hors d`oeuvres starting at 6:15 pm. and supper served around 7:00 p.m.

MENU: Choice of grilled Rib Eye, boneless pork chop, or boneless chicken breast, potatoes, salad, and dessert. Please pay as you enter the clubhouse so we can get a count for the grill and get your meal ticket. Deposit half your numbered meal ticket in the basket at the grill and a drawing will be held for a chance at a free meal. We need help in the kitchen following the meeting with clean up. Thank you to everyone that helped with the Izaak Walton fundraiser in August!
