DEAR MEMBERS AND SPONSORS:

The next regular meeting of the BEADLE COUNTY SPORTSMEN’S CLUB will be held on Tuesday, November 12th. Social hour will start at 6:00 p.m., with supper served around 7 p.m.

NOVEMBER is the month we traditionally are thankful and count our many blessings! In keeping with this theme, we will serve a Thanksgiving meal for our Sportsmen’s Club members and their families with the following menu: Roasted Turkey, giblet stuffing, mashed potatoes with gravy, cheesy green beans, cole slaw, cranberry sauce, relishes, rolls and apple, blueberry, cherry and pumpkin dessert for $15 per adult (children under 18 eat free). Please pay as you enter the clubhouse and get your adult meal ticket.

We are having a ‘sweatshirt raffle’ at the cost of $1 a chance. If you’re a winner, you’ll get a certificate to pick up your color choice and size at Signature Plus. Also our gun raffle will feature a Mt Rushmore Heritage .22 pistol for $5 a chance.

We will be taking donations for the Huron Area Salvation Army Angel Tree to help local children at Christmas time.

Thank you to everyone that made the Fall Bonanza a success. The winners were 1st Prize of $1,500: Sue Harrington and Danny Kempf split; 2nd Prize – Lyle Swanson, Browning X-bolt Long Range Hunter 300 Win Mag; 3rd Prize – Ray Polfus, Kimber Micro 9 Pistol; 4th Prize – Dale Berens, Ruger 10/22. Pay What U Pull Gun Raffle ticket #16 – Michael Hofhenke; Dave’s hand-made knife – Bernie Schutt; 50/50 winner of $447 – Dena Barton and blackjack winners were Bernie Schutt (gun), Nick Mors ($100), and Lyle Swanson ($50); Duck Pond – Dave Wright ($100), Lorika Hein ($50), Sara Kempf ($25) and Amy Reno ($25). Ruger American 270 winner was Al Purintun and knife winner was Roger Purintun. Pistol door raffle Gary Heath. Dice raffle Roger Puritin (pistol).

We have a Perpetual Memorial Plaque at our clubhouse. Contact Sharon if you are interested in having your loved ones name(s) engraved on a plate; the cost is $50 for each plate. We wish to keep this memorial to only names with ties to the Beadle County Sportsmen’s Club.

December 10th election will include president, vice-president, secretary/treasurer, and 3 board members. Contact Lyle Swanson 352-9889, our chairman, if you have nominations for open positions. This is also the night for a free meal if you have paid your 2025 club dues.
