DEAR MEMBERS AND SPONSORS:

The next regular meeting of the BEADLE COUNTY SPORTSMEN’S CLUB will be held on Tuesday, September 8th. Social hour will start at 6:00 p.m., with hors d`oeuvres starting at 6:15 pm. and supper served around 7:00 p.m.

MENU: Choice of grilled ribeye, boneless pork chop, or boneless chicken breast, potatoes, salad, and dessert. Please pay as you enter the clubhouse so we can get a count for the grill and get your meal ticket. Deposit half your numbered meal ticket in the basket at the grill and a drawing will be held for a chance at a free meal.

Dave Bartel won the Savage 308 Bolt Action gun raffle at the August meeting.

We will have Bartering Tables set up for any sports equipment you would like to sell, trade or swap. Please bring your quality items, or “shop” for the other items that will be available. There is no cost for this service and is available to anyone.

We are having a ‘sweatshirt raffle’ at the cost of $1 a chance. If you’re a winner, you’ll get a certificate to pick up your color choice and size at Signature Plus. Also have a raffle for a Winchester SXP Black Shadow 12 ga gun for $10 a chance.

We have a Perpetual Memorial Plaque at our clubhouse. Contact Sharon if you are interested in having your loved ones name(s) engraved on a plate; the cost is $50 for each plate. We wish to keep this memorial to only names with ties to the Beadle County Sportsmen’s Club.

On August 10th the Beadle County Sportsmen’s Club lost one of it’s board members, Lyle Swanson. If you are interested in completing Lyle’s term on the board (until December 2027) please contact Ken Shoultz.

The 2026 Fall Bonanza is planned for Saturday, October 24th. Top prize $1,500; 2nd prize  Winchester SX4 Field Compact 12 ga; 3rd prize Winchester XPR Vortex Scope Combo 6.5 Creedmore; 4th prize  Winchester SXP Waterfowl Hunter 12 ga. Drawings for $25 throughout the evening, along with blackjack, dice game (Taurus G3C 9mm pistol prize), pick a duck (cash prizes), heads or tails, pay what you pull game (Winchester XPR Vortex Scope Combo 7mm Mag prize), and popular hat raffle (Winchester XPR 300 Win Mag prize). If you have donations for our silent auction, you can bring them on Tuesday, or contact a board member. Plan to have bonanza tickets available for purchase on Tuesday,
